What you need to know about Hydroxyl Generator?

Using a hydroxyl generator is safe in occupied areas for deodorization purposes. It is one of the most scientifically – advanced pieces of equipment we use to combat malodors and leave a property deodorized.

Hydroxyl generators have been successfully tested on fires and other restoration and bio jobs, including protein fires, floods, skunk odor, pet urine, musty odors and many other types of odors.

How it works?

Hydroxyl generators are used to eliminate odors and break down volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in indoor environment. UVA rays are emitted from the titanium dioxide photocatalytic lamps, where they can pass through a permanent coated super reactor screen, forming electron hole pairs that react with water and oxygen in the air to form free electrons and hydroxyl radicals that eliminate organic and inorganic gases and air pollutants.
